Angerstein’s is a family owned and operated business that opened in 1924 when Albert H. Angerstein, Sr. purchased a small coal and feed company located in Wilmington, Delaware. Shortly thereafter, his son, Albert H. Angerstein, Jr. joined the company and added hardware and building materials to their product offerings. In 1963, Mr. Angerstein’s son-in-law, Bruce W. Greene, joined the family business. Today, Angerstein family members all work hard to ensure that each customer’s satisfaction will keep us in business for another 80 years.

Directions to the Wilmington Branch:
Angerstein’s Design Center is located at the intersection of Route 2 (Kirkwood Highway) and Route 100 (DuPont Road), and can be easily reached from any area of the state via I95, Route 141 or Route 52.
From North Wilmington
Take Route 202S to Route 141S. Follow Route 141S for approximately 3 miles. Make a left onto Lancaster Pike. Follow this road for approximately 1 mile. Make a right onto Route 100S. This road is also called DuPont Road. At the second traffic light, make a left into our parking lot.
From Pennsylvania
Take Route 52S and make a right onto Route 100S. This road is also called DuPont Road. Follow this road for approximately one mile. You will go straight through three stop signs and come up to a traffic light. Make a left at the traffic light. Then make an immediate right. This will put you back onto Route 100S. At the second traffic light, make a left into our parking lot.
From Middletown
Take Route 896N to Route 95N. Take 95N to Route 141N. Follow Route 141 North to the Route 2 East exit towards the town of Elsmere. Once you pass the Elsmere Fire Hall, get in the left lane. Make a left onto Route 100N. Then make an immediate right into our parking lot.
From Maryland
Take Route 95N to Route 141N. Get off at the exit for Route 2 East heading towards to the town of Elsmere. Once you pass the Elsmere Fire Hall, get in your left lane. Make a left onto Route 100N. Then make an immediate right into our parking lot.
From New Jersey
Take 95S across the Delaware Memorial Bridge. Then get onto Route 141N. Take this to the Route 2 East exit towards the town of Elsmere. Once you pass the Elsmere Fire Hall, get in the left lane. Make a left onto Route 100N. Then make an immediate right into our parking lot.
Directions to the Milton Branch:
From the North (Milford, Dover, Wilmington)
Take Route 1 South to Route 5 (Milton). Bear right onto Route 5. Follow Route 5 into the Town of Milton. Stay on Route 5 into Milton. Route 5 becomes Union Street. Follow Union Street (Route 5) into the center of town. Bear right onto Federal Street (Route 5). The Angersteins Milton Store is located on Federal Street at the Railroad Crossing just past the Milton Elementry School.
From the South (Rehoboth, Lewes, Bethany)
Out of Rehoboth Take Route 1 North to Route 9. Turn left (West) onto Route 9. Follow Route 9 to Route 5. Turn right onto Route 5 (North). Follow Route 5 into the Town of Milton. The Angersteins Milton Store is located on Route 5 (Federal Street) on the right at the Railroad Crossing.
From the West (Georgetown, Seaford, Laurel)
Take Route 9 East out of Georgetown to Route 5. Turn left onto Route 5. Follow Route 5 into the Town of Milton. The Angersteins Milton Store is located on Route 5 (Federal Street) on the right at the Railroad Crossing.
